NARUTO Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Single-player demo

The playable demo for NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 2 is now available for download on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 and the PlayStationNetwork for the PlayStation 3 across Europe and the PAL regions.

Featuring the 1st boss battle of the game against Kakashi, you will be able to play with Naruto and Sakura as a support character. Avoid the terrible attacks from Kakashi and use your chackra wisely to clear his test and steal the bells from him.

Developed by acclaimed studio CyberConnect2, NARUTO Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is a tour de force of Naruto thrills and spills, and the first game based on the global hit Naruto Shippuden manga and anime to appear on both consoles. Impressively faithfully to the universe of the anime, the game takes players through the Naruto Shippuden story arc with new battle systems enhancing the gameplay. Players must choose the right companions to fight alongside for a greater chance of winning, and together unleash explosive Team Special Techniques to lay waste to opponents. The brand new online mode, a first for the Ultimate Ninja series, takes the full force of the fight to opponents around the world.

The content-packed Collector Edition and standard retail version are scheduled for launch across Europe and the PAL territories on October 15th 2010 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Madden NFL 11 Demo Details

On July 27th, will be released a robust Madden NFL 11 demo, featuring full 5 minute quarters, Indianapolis Colts vs. New York Jets (as voted by the fans), full GameFlow integration, the ability to create offensive and defensive game plans, and more.

  • Release date: July 27th on both Xbox LIVE and PSN
  • Teams: Colts vs. Jets
  • Stadium: Jets Stadium, East Rutherford NJ – 1:00pm, clear
  • Full 5 minute quarters

Updated Aliens vs Predator demo available now for PlayStation 3

SEGA and Rebellion can confirm that a new updated version of the Aliens vs Predator demo is available now on PlayStation Network. The first iteration of the Aliens vs Predator multiplayer demo has now been taken down from PlayStation Network and replaced with this new version.

The first iteration of the demo suffered matchmaking problems resulting in some players experiencing difficulties getting into matches. SEGA and Rebellion have worked closely with Sony to investigate and resolve the issue with this new demo. The new demo also features additional functionality to allow PlayStation 3 users to create their own matches and browse for any available ones to join.

“We are confident that the matchmaking issue has been fixed with this new demo and we will be monitoring community activity closely over the coming days to ensure that it has been fully resolved. We would like to thank the community for all of their valuable feedback and continued patience,” said Gary Knight, European Marketing Director of SEGA Europe.

Rebellion would also like to clarify the reasoning behind the choice of a Deathmatch multiplayer demo for Aliens vs Predator.

“We chose Deathmatch as the mode for the demo as it’s very familiar to all FPS gamers and minimizes restrictions on players while they are getting to grips with the controls of each of the three playable species” said Jason Kingsley, CEO and co-founder of Rebellion. “We have plenty of new modes in the game and players only have to wait a matter of days before they can play them when the game launches.”

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced that it will release a playable demo of Hideo Kojima’s eagerly-awaited METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER today.

With METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER recently confirmed as a May 28th launch, Konami is giving people the chance to get an early taste of the new game with an extensive English language European demo. Available via the PlayStation®Store, the free demo titled “METAL GEAR SOLID PEACE WALKER: DEMO-OPS” showcases four mission types featuring new content previously playable only on the show floor of the Tokyo Game Show, and more.

METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER marks the return of the world-renowned stealth-action series. Hand-crafted by series creator Hideo Kojima, the all-new sequel delivers an original game design, story, and scenario as it picks up where Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for the PlayStation®2 leaves off.

The game is set in Central America in 1974, as players take control of the famed Naked Snake (Big Boss): the legendary hero who had once saved the world from the brink of nuclear war. Snake has now turned his back on his mother country and established ‘An Army without a Government’ in South America, and is approached by visitors from ‘A Nation without a Military’ to investigate suspicious activity in the peaceful paradise of Costa Rica.
