Now Available for Download, Game Offers All-New Single Player Survival Mode, More Ships and Pick-Ups Maps and Updated Gameplay Features with Updated Content Available As Free Download for Current Owners of Star Trek: D-A-C

Paramount Digital Entertainment, Bad Robot Interactive, CBS Consumer Products and Naked Sky Entertainment announced that new content for the Star Trek®: D-A-C video game is now available for download via Xbox LIVE® Arcade. For players that previously purchased the game on Xbox LIVE Arcade, the new content for Star Trek: D-A-C is available as a free download. New players can purchase the updated game on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 Microsoft points.

Star Trek D-A-C

Star Trek: D-A-C is a fast-paced, top-down space shooter where up to 12 players can compete in intergalactic battles between Starfleet and the Romulan Empire. Since its maiden voyage on Xbox LIVE® Arcade earlier this year, Star Trek: D-A-C has been expanded with two additional ship classes, a single player game mode, several new pick-ups, a new map for Assault Mode, enhanced gameplay features and more.

Star Trek: D-A-C supports online multiplayer, online co-op and single player gameplay. There are four different game types – Survival, Team Deathmatch, Conquest and Assault. In the all-new single-player Survival Mode, Starfleet captains have only three lives to blast through waves of enemy ships. When destroyed, enemy ships and drones drop special ability and score pick-ups, and players are challenged to grab as many as they can before their lives run out. Top scores will move players to the top of the leader boards and Starfleet ranks. In Team Deathmatch, teams go head-to-head, clashing in a winner-takes-all fight to the finish. In Conquest, teams must simultaneously protect and conquer control points in space. In Assault, teams take turns trying to dominate or defend a sector of space.

In Star Trek: D-A-C, players choose from five ship types for both the Romulans and the Federation – the all-new Missile Cruiser, all-new Support Frigate, Bomber, Fighter and Flagship – with each ship offering unique capabilities for players to master and manipulate from the Captain’s chair. The Missile Cruiser is a heavy artillery ship that features a longer range than any other ship in the game, but is vulnerable to close range attacks due to a low rate of fire and slower flight speed. The Support Frigate allows players to heal friendly ships and easily target escape pods. The nimble Bomber speeds in and out of battles, dropping bombs in its wake. The Fighter attacks ships head-on, blasting missiles and dodging attacks.

The durable Flagship allows players to target enemies with a reticule and inflict damage with an auto-firing phaser that attacks nearby enemies. The Starfleet Flagship is the U.S.S. Enterprise™ featured in the “Star Trek” film.

New gameplay updates in Star Trek: D-A-C include variable AI difficulty settings, customizable goals that allow players to set game time limits and number of kills needed to win, improved mechanics for capturing control points in Conquest games, and host migration, which will allow games to continue even if the host player disconnects. Star Trek: D-A-C also incorporates music and signature sounds taken directly from the “Star Trek” film.

Star Trek: D-A-C is now available for download for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Arcade. It is also available for $9.99 on PlayStation®Network and for Windows PC through Valve’s SteamTM distribution service. Star Trek: D-A-C is rated “E” by the ESRB.

NARUTO Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 First tips and tricks installment out now

TOMY Corporation released the first installment of tips and tricks for the just released NARUTO™ Shippuden: Clash of Ninja® Revolution 3 with a guide to the new Latent Ninja Powers feature, as well as gameplay footage featuring unlockable characters Sai, Yamato, Kakuzu and Hidan unleashing their signature jutsu. Players can experience the death defying ninja moves of four popular Naruto characters and the latent ninja powers for the 40 ninja that are playable in the game.

NARUTO Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3

Now available exclusively for Wii™, the classic 3D fighting game features new and improved gameplay mechanics, multiple gameplay modes, and for the first time, Wi-Fi multiplayer functionality.

A brief description of Sai, Yamato, Kakuzu and Hidan along with their signature jutsu can be found below:

Sai’s unique ability is creating attacks that jump off the page as he draws them. Sai can quickly scribble out birds or beasts that hop out of his scroll to attack his opponent. Generally his strong attacks lead to these ink creations, and knowing their startup times and trajectories is important in combining them with cancels to create dangerous chained combos.

Yamato is a great all-around character with some neat wood-based attacks up his sleeve. His forward-strong attack creates a wood trap that grabs and holds an enemy in place. His jump-strong attack is also a downward log that hits opponents multiple times, which is particularly useful in creating extra damage to fallen enemies.

Kakuzu has gained the ability to use multiple elemental jutsu because of the hearts of his enemies he’s stolen. Like most other characters, using the strong attack activates these more damaging attacks. However, in a unique twist, it’s the direction that’s pressed after the strong attack is activated that defines which jutsu occurs. Using strong attack, then quickly pressing down, will direct Kakuzu to lay a stream of fire onto the ground. He’s also capable of an upward wind attack and a forward, mid-range lightning attack.

Hidan is a character whose interesting back-story was turned into interesting game mechanics. He is immortal because of his religious connection to Jashin (his god), and his most devastating jutsu involves connecting himself to an enemy via their blood, and using himself as a voodoo doll to attack. In the game, if a player witnesses him drawing a seal on the floor they should immediately retreat. Standing in it allows him to use a secondary jutsu that is instant, unblockable and highly damaging.

Two Worlds II officially scheduled for Xbox 360 release

Two Worlds II is officially announced for release on the Xbox 360®video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®. The much anticipated sequel to the million selling game Two Worlds will be published in the spring of 2010 by South Peak games in North America, South America, the United Kingdom and the Oceana regions and in Europe by Topware Interactive.

Two Worlds II

Two Worlds II returns players to the realms of Antaloor, the high fantasy world of mysticism and awe from the first title, released in 2007. Two Worlds II has been built from the ground up for Xbox 360 with a brand new engine and gameplay mechanics aimed at delivering both hardcore and casual gamers a refreshingly robust role-playing experience.

Rescued from prison by former enemies, the player once again assumes control of the unnamed hero, only to find the world of Antaloor has been forever changed in their absence.

Boasting a diverse, living world and a limitless open narrative, Two Worlds II could very well be the next sleeper hit of the genre. Antaloor is a mythic world of pristine savannahs and mordant swamps, celestial cities teeming with life that will rise or fall entirely depending of the player’s actions, as the reign of the implacable despot Gandohar threatens to throw the world into a state of irreversible decay.
