dtp entertainment announces So Blonde for Wii and Nintendo DS

Again: She’s 17, she’s blonde and she only faces “problems“ with her hair and make up. No need to worry about anything when Sunny cruises with her rich parents the Caribbean to celebrate their wedding day.

But suddenly a thunderstorm hits the ship, Sunny falls overboard into a life boat. When she regains consciousness, she notices herself being washed ashore on the beach of an island. She has no idea either where she is or where her parents and all the other cruise shippers are – she’s lost.

This is how the PC version of Steve Ince’s adventure game So Blonde starts. Back then, Sunny faced that beautiful Caribbean scenery – now, in So Blonde for Wii™ and Nintendo DS™, this has changed: The island appears dark, no one is to see at the shores and strange black sand crunches underneath Sunny’s feet. Rugged rocks border the beaches – Sunny has to make up something to get to the inner island. What was that up there on the cliff? Wasn’t there a man? If so, why does he ignore Sunny’s cry for help? Sunny will face a new adventure…

dtp entertainment and Wizarbox have announced the adventure game So Blonde for Wii and Nintendo DS which is a completely new adventure game, based on the beautiful heroine of the already-released PC versions. This time, the game’s story, again written by adventure gaming legend Steve Ince, makes Sunny explore the dark side of the Forgotten Island, where she stranded.

Some of the incidents happening on the island are the same as in the PC version – but this time, Steve Ince drives the story into a completely new direction. Other islanders are coming to the fore and are taking over the lead roles in So Blonde for Wii and Nintendo DS.

Both version’s controls have been adapted to fit Wii Remote, Nunchuk and Nintendo DS-Touchpen easily. So, point & click control feels as it’s meant to be. Also the party mini games included in So Blonde benefit from Nintendo’s intuitive control systems. dtp entertainment is going to release So Blonde for Wii and Nintendo DS in 2009.

Xbox 360 and Ibiza Rocks Hotel are celebrating a summer of unforgettable events with a closing party

ZANE LOWE, MYSTERY JETS & CUBAN BROTHERS SEE THE SUMMER OUT IN STYLE!

Xbox 360 and Ibiza Rocks Hotel are celebrating a summer of unforgettable events with a closing party line-up set to get the White Isle rocking like never before.

As the Ibiza 2008 party season reaches its climax, the final Xbox Weekender of the summer will take place at Ibiza Rocks Hotel on September 12th-14th. Headlining the Saturday will be none other than BBC Radio One’s Zane Lowe with an exclusive DJ set. A self- confessed Xbox fan, Zane is no stranger to Ibiza having hosted the Xbox 360 Rock Band launch party on the island back in May and more recently, taken the roof off legendary superclub Amnesia with his first ever Essential Mix live from the Radio One Weekend earlier this month.

But the Ibiza Rocks experience wouldn’t be complete without a blistering live act to shake up proceedings – also playing on the Saturday night will be quirky rockers Mystery Jets. Celebrating the end of a full on festival season, the London based band will make a welcome return to the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, to tear up the live stage and, quite possibly, the Xbox Penthouse suite, where they enjoyed a stay earlier this season.

Also appearing over the weekend will be comedy genius Mike Cuban, livening things up by performing as the legend that is hospital radio DJ Barry Peters and also appearing across the weekend alongside his comedy rocker compadres, The Cuban Brothers. These boys are renowned the world over for their brilliant live shows and on-stage antics – expect great tunes, a great laugh and pool parties with some of the most ridiculous moustaches in music.

Finally, partygoers at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel will be treated to the talents of rising star and cutting edge DJ, Doorly. Utilising five decks and a mountain of effects units, expect an eclectic mix of tuneage spanning everything from house and electro through to indie and hip hop to keep the party pumping regardless of genre.

The Xbox Weekenders form part of the Xbox summer of music activity covering music festivals, exclusive gigs and special events to celebrate the fact that players can download cutting edge music videos (and movies) on Xbox LIVE.

Inside the new Ibiza Rocks Hotel, guests can enjoy the ‘Xbox Social’, the perfect place to experience the latest games, music and movies available on Xbox 360, complete with comfy couches and quirky extras. Throughout the hotel, Xbox 360 kiosks are on hand to play all the latest games, and for those who can’t make it out of their rooms after a particularly heavy night’s clubbing, there is also a concierge service available where the Xbox team will set up consoles and games in people’s rooms completely free.

On the top floor of the 368 room hotel, you can find the ‘Xbox Penthouse’ – a premium quality apartment complete with sunset balcony, where all the bands playing at Ibiza Rocks Hotel have been staying during their time on the island. It is also been acting as a luxury safe haven for VIPs and celebrities throughout the season.

Commenting on the latest line up, Alex Weller, Brand Experience manager, Xbox UK said: “The line-up for September’s Xbox Weekender is a fitting way to end what’s been an incredible summer of music events for us. From the first party back in May with The Enemy right through to Zane Lowe and Mystery Jets finishing things off in style, we’ve truly established ourselves as a credible music partner to Ibiza Rocks Hotel and helped create a unique and exciting addition to the Ibiza party scene.”

Andy McKay, Promoter, Ibiza Rocks said: “It’s been brilliant having Xbox on board, contributing to what has been a hugely successful first year at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, where we’ve hosted the island’s ‘must see’ music events of the summer, including the Xbox Weekenders, Radio One Weekend and, of course, the Ibiza Rocks with Sony Ericsson weekly series of live gigs. September’s Xbox Weekender boasts another impressive line up that will end an incredible summer season.”
